Dell Laptop Problems
I bought my Laptop off Dell and according to Dell Digital Delivery my Adobe elements is installing but it's been two days now and has yet to be completed. How can I easily install this software to my laptop?

Registration and updating issues with Adobe Creative Suite 3 - Design Standard
I have just reinstalled Creative Suite 3 Design Standard after experiencing some difficulties - namely I couldn't update the program and in fact haven't been able to for more than a yr. As this was a complete re instal I thought I would be asked to submit my license number - but as yet not and when I try to register I get an error reading -- 'A problem was encountered while trying to send information over the Internet'. Can someone help here? .

How did it get sent? Normally you would receive files from others by e-mail, though PDFs have to be properly encoded when sent by e-mail.

The only version of Photoshop available for purchase is CS6
That's superseded and no longer being updated.
The only way to get CC and CC 2014 is to sign up for a plan.

Re: Have Acrobat 8. When I convert a Publisher document to a PDF, I lose the headers and footers that I've created on the master page--specifically lines drawn as part of design. I select Adobe PDF in the "printer" section of "age Set Up. Help.
Open Publisher and print to the Adobe PDF printer. If there is an Acrobat menu in Publisher, you can try that. If the last part does not exist, then you cannot open a Publisher file in Acrobat. According to the compatibility chart, AA 8 and Publisher in Office 2003 should be compatible. You can try a repair of Acrobat and also do updates (at about 8.3.5 or so). You might also have to enable Acrobat in Publisher.
Opening in Acrobat requires PDF Maker (the Acrobat menu) to work in Publisher. This is where enabling may be necessary. Using the printer is always a backup.

Problem with clone stamp

Problem with Photoshop CC on PC
When I try to use clone stamp near the border of the picture it copies wrong area. It always take the border when I choose near the border. I try to do the same in my old copy of CS6 and there it worked properly on the same picture.
Is this new version of Photoshop a crap???

After Effects preview rendering
Simple question for anyone familiar with After FX
How the heck do u keep ur Play\Preview rendering going when u click off After FX and onto another program or window..? (unfocused)
I cant very well sit here and do nothing while it takes 30 mins to preview render something, but as soon as I do anything else, even click inside AFX, the preview rendering stops.
anyone ?

Re: how to scale multiple layers together
Just select everything at once and scale with the Scale tool or by dragging the corner of the bounding box. Layers have got nothing to do with it as long as they’re not locked.
By the way, you can also do it in parts by scaling one object, selecting the next and pressing Cmd/Ctrl+D and so on.

Re: windows 7 pro 64 bit publisher 2007 adobe acrobat 9 can create a postscript file then use distiller to create pdf. Will I be able to do this with acrobat XI?
AA9 includes PDF Maker for Publisher 2007. AA XI does not include a PDF Maker version for Publisher 2007. You can always create a PDF by printing to the Adobe PDF printer, but no bookmarks will be included. It should work in AA9, but you may need to do the updates.

Yeah, the log is for debugging hard to diagnose issues, but had some problems in the way part of it was being used. We're investigating that (after fixing the crash, of course).
What is disturbing is that you didn't have permissions on your own home directory! That sounds like an OS level @$%^up…. er, I mean problem. Did you migrate your user directory from another machine or volume?
But that at least answers my question about how some people were unable to create that file.

You don’t colour the artboard. You just draw a rectangle of colour and send it to the back of the stack.
You should also consider whether the printing inks will be opaque or transparent. If transparent set the front object(s) to Multiply.

Licences how many do i need
hi guys I have 2 laptops and two mac pros at home and i want all to run photoshop cc at the same time . do i have to buy another monthly subscription under a different adobe ID ? how many can i run under the same ID at 9.99/month . any advice appreciated

-Checked the device manager: no warnings or broken drivers
-Checked the event viewer: no warnings, errors or anything critical in the last hour (in which I I had this issue again)
So I didn't manage to track down the issue...
Update:
BUT I decided to let it rest a few days (apparently computers might need vacation time after all) and then thought I should help the laptop breathe a little. Thank god it's built with steel because I can assure you that I can cook eggs and burn them with the heat that comes out of that vent area. Seriously, one cannot have its finger touch that spot for more than 3 seconds before getting real burns. Anyhow, point being that I've risen the laptop from my desk by putting 2 strips of wood on each end. Now there's enough room for heat to better circulate under. And guess what? I've worked 4 days on it without any of those buggy/crashy problems... Cannot guarantee that it actually helped, but I suggest for people to try this option if they're out of ideas.

Adobe Premiere Pro CC Crash on Splash Screen
My Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 is crashing on the splash screen. My Adobe Premiere Pro CC was not crashing until 2014. I am very angry and frustrated this subpar update was forced on us.
I have tried:
Uninstalling and re-installing SEVERAL TIMES
I have tried changing the compatibility issues to windows 7
I have tried running in administration mode
I have started my computer several times
I have tried updating my video drivers
My computer specs:
ASUS G75V gaming laptop
1tb SSD
12g ram
3gb video memory
I have deadlines for clients and this is VERY frustrating!!!!

I hope it comes out soon because a long time ago 20GB was more than anyone would ever need, but these days it just doesn't seem like that much anymore!
